Clinic History

The Tiger Mountain Center For Acupuncture was founded in 1995 by Christina Jackson and Sue Foss, who graduated together that year from The Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle. As students, Christina and Sue shared a common vision of an acupuncture clinic in Issaquah that would provide holistic healthcare to the east side in a quiet and nurturing environment. What began as the only acupuncture clinic in Issaquah — a shared 150 square-foot treatment room on Rainier Boulevard — has grown into a thriving clinic that has become an integral member of the Issaquah medical community.
